Speaking Engagements

Sight Loss Ministries is available to speak at your church, community group or event to share about our work supporting people with sight loss across Northern Ireland. These talks also provide an opportunity to raise awareness about the realities of living with sight loss, and to inform your congregation or group about the services we offer to those affected. We believe that greater understanding can lead to deeper compassion and inclusion within our churches and communities.

Sighted Guide and Sight Loss Awareness Training

We also offer Introductory Sighted Guide and Sight Loss Awareness Training for churches, community groups, and businesses. This practical session is ideal for anyone who wants to feel more confident interacting with and supporting blind or partially sighted people, whether that’s a member of your congregation, a customer, or a colleague who is beginning to lose their sight. While not accredited, the training is grounded in years of hands-on experience and is designed to be informative, respectful, and easy to understand.
